
Monsters Art Show: Presented by L’Arche Saskatoon

The L’Arche Saskatoon community will be presenting a group exhibition created through their arts Workshop program. The show is an exploration of modern and traditional concepts of monsters and mythical creatures, as well as the underlying theme of fear. The works in the exhibition have been created individually and in collaboration by all members of the L’Arche Saskatoon community. The exhibition features experimentation with a range of media; pop-art paintings, photography, hand-sewn sculptures, papier mache sculptures and more.
L’Arche Saskatoon is a local branch of an international not for profit organization which provides homes and services for adults with disabilities. L’Arche is unique in its’ approach to caring and serving people with disabilities as we have a specific focus on building relationships and creating a community. The Workshop is an arts and crafts based day program where members of the L’Arche Saskatoon community participate as core members, assistants, and volunteers working together to create artistic work.
