Elisabeth Belliveau
if found – return to me
January 11th to February 16th, 2013

The first show of the new year will open on January 11th, 2013, and feature the works of Elisabeth Belliveau.

If found -return to me is an exhibition of new drawing, writing and video work. Through observation, recording and collecting, narrative fragments surface between countries and people. Both poetic and playful,  the exhibition unfolds as an expanded sketchbook or journal.  Founded in creative writing practice, Elisabeth’s work employs sculpture and drawing strategies to explore the relationship between biography and place.

As a whole the exhibition shapes a dialogue surrounding interdisciplinary practice, exhibition strategies for video projection and approaches to story telling. These new works set out to expand the possibilities of narrative and form as they relate to imagery; weaving text, sound and time.
