Soft Shell 
is a culmination of two years exploring themes related to fatness. Sculpture and installation probe the effects of diet culture, the pathologization of bodily diversity, and how inherited values of food can shape the architecture of an individual.

Zoë Schneider is an artist, curator, and arts administrator who manipulates found and fabricated materials into artworks that investigate corporeality within social systems. Schneider’s work explores various phenomenon and experiences found within diet culture, and inherited value systems of food. Schneider is currently completing an MFA at the University of Saskatchewan.
