AKA Member and board member Tammy Lu will be launching a book work project at the next JackPine Press launch at PAVED Arts on November 24th, with doors opening at 7 PM and readings at 8 PM.
Here’s some more information, courtesy of the JackPine Press site: “Transforium, by Tammy Lu and Mari-Lou Rowley, is a 16-page self-binding book, folded origami-style with pages and sleeves that allow for removable inserts. Throughout Transforium Rowley’s text is woven into Lu’s beautiful and elusive illustrations of everyday objects, life-forms, and transforming ephemera”.
Tammy was recently in an Artists by Artists project with Crystal Bueckert, titled Hatch, and you can see more of Tammy’s work here.
