Join us for a closing event for tba Projects and A specific amalgam of spirit and dirt.
Throughout the month of February Andie Palynchuk has be working in the gallery providing a guided studio space for artistic exploration to individuals with intellectual and/or limited mobility. Through her work with the organization S.A.I. (Saskatchewan Alternative Initiatives) she has been providing an outlet for individuals supported by the organization to express themselves creatively. Exploring the positive effects that making art can have on the lives of people who have been marginalized. Find more information about Andie’s project here.
The current exhibition A specific amalgam of spirit and dirt is coming to a close on Saturday, February 27. The exhibition showcases the work of four artists; Keeley Haftner, Ben Reeves, Sean Weisgerber and Ambera Wellman, whose practices have emerged or are emerging through the re-examination of contemporary painting. The Gallery will be open from 12pm to 4pm for viewing.
